HopeSem: New Testament Foundations 1
This course offers an overview of the composition of the New Testament, a survey of the New Testament world, as well as a study of the Gospels, the Book of Acts and the General Epistles. It highlights the historical, social, economic and religious backgrounds behind the beginning of Christianity, and will include a study of the occasions and purposes leading to the writing of the Gospels, the Book of Acts and the General Epistles. Special emphasis will be placed on the major theological themes of each book, thus providing an important foundation for interpreting and understanding the entire New Testament.
