This course covers the basic principles of interpreting the Old Testament and provides a study of its first 17 books – the Pentateuch and the Historical books. Through the study of the historical, geographical and cultural background of each book, as well as outlines of their content, this course provides an important foundation for interpreting and understanding the Old Testament and offers a practical and contemporary understanding of God’s redemptive plan and purposes for His Church and the world.
