Bible Seminar: Book of Joshua (Part 1)
Faithfulness in the Gospel: Walking Right in light of God's Promises
The Book of Joshua begins with God reaffirming the promises He made to Moses and exhorting Joshua to be courageous and obedient, thereby establishing the major themes of the Book. Through numerous battles in their conquest of the Promised Land, Israel witnessed God's continuing faithfulness and learnt an important lesson: that victory comes only through unwavering trust in God and obedience to His Word, rather than through numerical or military superiority.
