Alpha The Parenting Children Course
This course has six sessions. Alpha The Parenting Children Course, which make
up the first five sessions, is designed to help parents and carers of 0 to
10-year-olds, and parents-to-be, to equip their children for life by looking
at: building strong foundations; meeting our children’s needs; setting
boundaries; teaching healthy relationships; our children’s long-term aim.
The course emphasises the role of the family, and acknowledges that there is no instant recipe or formula for bringing up children, and different situations and different children call for different approaches. However, there is acceptance of the idea that some general principles apply to all families, and that there is great value in discussions with other parents. The sixth session, Spiritual Parenting, provides a spiritual perspective to parenting with eternity in mind.
The sixth session part 1, Spiritual Parenting, provides a spiritual perspective to parenting with eternity in mind. In part 2, Kidspot Training will train participants to lead a Children’s Life Group running concurrently with an Adult Life Group.
