Hope Funeral Resources
Death can happen suddenly and unexpectedly. We are called to be prepared as a spiritual family to support those who have lost their loved ones through a difficult season of mourning and grieving. These series of resources are produced to support leaders so that they are equipped to run funeral service for members or family members of the deceased who are Christians.
The Funeral Procedure Guide (for leaders) provides information such as running a wake and cremation service.
To support the running of the service, leaders can also loan physical copies of the funeral service booklets from the church by filling up this form. The booklets can be collected from our service locations at CT Hub (staff only), Axis, NTP and West Centre. Otherwise, an interactive digital copy of this booklet is also available here.
A readily-designed service flyer template can be downloaded and printed to go along with the funeral service booklets.
In these trying times, the church can rally together in supporting and comforting the family. May our love and service at such times gently point others to the source of all comfort, Jesus Christ Himself.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
